Management Team
Jeremy Sokulsky
President
Jeremy Sokulsky has pursued innovative means to improve the environment for over a decade from the public, private and non-profit sectors.  In 2004 Mr. Sokulsky founded Environmental Incentives to investigate and further the use of incentives and performance-based policies as tools to inspire environmental improvement.

Chad Praul
Partner/Engineer
Chad Praul’s career is focused on combining technical analysis tools with clear communication approaches to promote conservation and efficient use of environmental and economic resources. His broad engineering background allows him to rapidly assess available data and succinctly display key findings.

Staff
Marcy Protteau
Associate
Marcy Protteau applies her academic background in resource economics, water policy and global environmental change to improve the management and environmental quality of local natural resources. Her experience with water quality monitoring and project management gives her a strong technical foundation on which to build her work in the Lake Tahoe basin.

Maria Mircheva
Associate
Maria Mircheva is interested in applying business approaches to solve environmental problems. Her technical and social skills allow her to participate effectively in multi-stakeholder projects and their implementation.


Cory Hunt
Research Associate
Cory Hunt is focused on human-environment interaction and the policies which shape and affect that dynamic relationship. Mr. Hunt’s research interests include urban-rural interface issues, Geographic Information Systems and the application of information technology in ecosystem management.

Paul Zander
Administrative Assistant
Paul Zander applies his interest in environmental improvement, analytic technologies and problem solving to assist the EI staff in cost-effectively producing quality products. His familiarity with key resource issues in the Lake Tahoe area allows him to add value beyond his position title. Mr. Zander is currently pursuing a degree in Math and Liberal Arts from Lake Tahoe Community College
