chunt@enviroincentives.com
Cory Hunt is focused on human-environment interaction and the policies which shape and affect that dynamic relationship. Tenures at the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau and direct field experience inform his perspective on the decision making process that affects the Great Basin. As a researcher for the Walker Basin Project, Mr. Hunt examined water rights acquisition and gained a strong understanding of the political context for multi-stakeholder land acquisition in the arid West. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno. Mr. Hunt’s additional research interests include urban-rural interface issues, Geographic Information Systems and the application of information technology in ecosystem management.
